Education tax (often referred to in practice alongside tertiary education funding mechanisms) is a separate levy for many companies and is administered in the federal tax ecosystem alongside other heads. Rates and bases belong in current law and NRS instructions—not in a short web summary.
Not the same as PAYE
Do not confuse TET with employee PAYE to a state IRS. The employer may owe distinct levies on profits or assessable amounts depending on rules in force.
